Not only have the learned things they can do to keep them selves busy and entertained at events. They also have plenty to do at home.If your looking for some fun fresh ideas for todays kids try looking to the past. From stories and games to learning simple sewing and all written to the child and most involve little supplies or props.

I bought this as a gift for friends with several young girls. Mom tells me the girls are really enjoying the book and are doing activities from it, at their own request. That makes me very happy!
I am a history buff, especially about children's activities. I loved trying some of the crafts girls used to do and did some with my granddaughters. YOU try making a basket out of wire and cloves! Dressing a doll. So much fun! Once again we need more"back in the day."
